Cabbage Commotion

Cabbage Commotion is a top down competitive farming game for Makey Makey. The aim is to harvest as many cabbage as possible while setting fire to your opponents allotments. Made in Unreal in Blueprints for a '2 Working Day Makey-Makey Jam'; I was lead designer and the only programmer on the team.

Key Features

  • Harvest cabbages when they're fully grown by picking up the real cabbage

  • Move left or right using the foot pedals

  • Switch between fire and water spells with the button on your wand

  • Cast spells by flicking your wand at the screen

  • Used a controller workaround to move 2 pawns with one inputt

  • Simple UI to track score for each player and a results screen at the end

  • Controls set up for Makey Makey and keyboard
